LOVE IS LOVE! This pride collection is near and dear to my heart. After working with Teneral Cellars and their Ruth Bader Ginsburg release, I was asked to continue working with them and create a label trio in honor of Pride month. The three labels represent the history, struggles, and freedom within the LGBTQ+ community. The holding hands label, 'Overflowing with Pride' represents the support for the LGBTQ+ community and contains an excerpt of a poem by Drue Robinson. The center logo, 'Uprising' features the Stonewall Inn building sporting Marsha P. Johnson's infamous flower crown. This bottle has been the showcase piece for the trio and exemplifies the history of Pride. Finally the dragonfly label, 'Loud and Proud' is an homage to the Teneral Cellars dragonfly logo. It expresses the freedom of coming out and the weight being lifted off of one's shoulders.

I came up with this collar design after seeing how much pride Ruth Bader Ginsburg had in the ones she selected and wore. Outside of her many accomplishments, these collars were her staple pieces to 'add some spice' and much needed femininity to the Supreme Court robes. Each one of the collars had a special place in her heart and she wore them to subtly express her feelings about a decision or event. The highlighted collar in the center was her most popular 'Dissent' collar. She wore this particular one when she wanted to express a strong disapproval to a person or case, like the day after Trump's election. In contrast, she wore her favorite, white collar (the top one on the label) to many of Barack Obama events, such as the State of the Union in 2012. Well played Ruth! Finally, the bottom collar was my own personal choice which I thought was a truly unique and beautiful piece. It was a gift to Ruth from the New Mexico Chapter of International Women’s Forum in 2016. 

It was an honor to be able to create this piece of art in memoriam to such an incredible woman. I am so grateful that against all odds, she fought hard for those who had been unheard or underrepresented for so long.

This design was selected from a pool of applicants during a label competition that Teneral Cellars held. I have also included my other submissions that did not make the cut. 10% of all proceeds went to The National Women's Law Center. 

Logo design and branding for my cousin and Dad's band. They perform at local venues in Cincinnati, Ohio and lean on me for promotion flyers and social media advertisements.  

Logo gifted for the infamous coffee bean roaster out of Columbus, Ohio. Ken roasts fresh coffee beans out of his garage that slowly became a local fan favorite. As his popularity grew, he was in need of a logo to trademark his delicious coffee.
